At its Inception, Insomniac Softball started with organizing social overnight softball events. For 5 years, Insomniac Softball would gather players of all skill levels for a night of softball, camaraderie, and competition.

Always asking "What's next?" Insomniac Softball ventured into league play, beginning in 2022 during the Fall Season and a Spring/Summer Season in 2023. With a growing demand for balanced competition, Insomniac Softball wants to be at the forefront of what competitors are seeking.​​​

In 2025, Insomniac Softball is excited to team up with YTS CoEd to further expand and evolve the recreational sports landscape. This partnership will help Insomniac Softball continue to innovate and adapt to the ever-changing needs of athletes. As Insomniac Softball is a men's league, collaborating with YTS will foster an inclusive and diverse environment that caters to both men and women, creating new opportunities for participants and enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved.
